This is the 1993 reissue of Pulp's 1987 album. It comes with a single-sided lyric insert. The record is housed in a plain white paper sleeve. The rear sleeve contains a barcode unlike the original issue. The sleeve and label contain the crescent-shaped Fire Records logo used from around late 1992.
Recorded and mixed at Input Studio, Sheffield during one week in June 1986.
Sleevenotes: Now listen; these freaks we're talking about, they're just normal people gone a bit wrong, that's all. Something happened to them and they never got over it. Now they walk around in a daze with twisted innards and blank faces, wanting to join in but too scared to make the jump. It's sad but don't bother crying; they still eat and drink and watch T.V. just like anyone else. And they smoke.
